General Counsel, Lotus House Women’s Shelter, responsible for compliance, advocacy, risk management, licensing, contracting, reporting, legal research, and advisement of Directors, staff and board as to all legal and compliance matters. Candidate must be licensed attorney in the state of Florida, and have 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in at least 3 of the following areas: contract drafting and review; compliance; risk management; litigation; legal drafting; civil rights and/or social justice law; nonprofit organizational legal matters. Must have deep understanding of non-profit organizational, legal, licensing, compliance, and reporting requirements; and deep commitment and passion for serving and uplifting women and children in need. Compensation commensurate with experience.
